September remember!

September is underway, school is in again and parents back to work. Hope the vacation period was restful and enjoyable whether or not you have kids or took a vacation. It’s been a while since I blogged and for me it’s been a working vacation of sorts till I get my Internet and computer working again at full throttle.

We’re now in the remaining months of 2019 and the fact that we’re still in the land of the living means that we have a lot for which to be grateful. Where would 2020 ’round this time find us is anybody’s guess.

In fact, it’s totally up to us based on what we collectively do today and everyday. Each experience and person can teach us so much if only we step back for a few moments every day to soak in the lessons from a wider context.

Hurricane season has also returned and already we’ve witnessed the devastation in a few parts of the world. Those storms seemed to appear out of thin air and increase at a rate that is alarmingly unusual to say the very least.

As we plug into technology we observe a modern world that seems to be moving in opposite directions. Even as we make giant leaps into the future, we seem to be brought back to our knees as we are reminded that there’s a greater force in control.

After a few decades of living on this planet, at times you feel as though you’ve seen everything there is to see, until you are surprised with a miracle or disaster too great to ignore. It has a way of breathing new life into living unabashedly – once you grab hold of whatever that euphoria-type-living is, since well — life has become a tad predictable.

Here’s to You & Us September!

May the force be with you 😉
