At the moment I am listening to the sounds of Scorpions which I resumed listening to these past few nights for some reason. I also discovered some foreign radio stations that’s super cool…but I’m taking a little break. As I listen, I remember singing karaoke to The Wind of Change (among other ballads/duets!) last month and it’s a funny memory 🙂
The world is constantly changing and moving, sometimes it’s difficult to maintain our grasp on one thing before it changes again. We as humans also change like the wind. One day you can be at the top of your game, enjoying life, in seemingly perfect health, then tomorrow life or rather God has something else in store for you.
You better believe it.
That’s a scary thought.
In fact it scares the be-Jesus out of me when I think about what lays ahead (much) further down the road.
I’ve had my encounter with that recently in my own life and that of my loved ones and friends. It’s very humbling and mind blowing, to think things were so great just a few moments before and now you are being forced to adapt and accept the reality of life.
Life is not meant to be fair, kind, smooth sailing or perfect all the time. (I talk about that in my latest book.) It’s hard for some of us to come to terms with that.
We are here to learn and transform our perceived negative experiences into a learning experience that hopefully can be used in a positive way to help ourselves or those around us. When you’ve reached that level, I think you are truly a liberated and evolved soul. But there’s always more to learn and do.
It’s easy to get lost and wallow in a hole of misery, crying ‘why me’ and this shouldn’t be happening to me…To give up and stay in one spot. But I am here to tell you there is a better way once you condition your mind and take it one day at a time. It can be done. You are stronger than you know.
You must want to get out of your hole. Open yourself up to the support that’s waiting to help you. Trust in a Higher Being to strengthen you. Believe in yourself. Read. Listen to music. Exercise. Go outside. Give thanks for the life that you do have. Trust me, there’s something better waiting for you.
Life’s guru’s speak of living in the moment all the time, so it’s nothing new for me to say this. I’ve said it a few times already so I will not bore you again. What I would say is that time is a phenomenal phenomenon. There’s always more to life. More than meets the eye. More working in the background. JUST MORE.
In my workshops I ask persons if they could go back to one time in the past, either in the world or their own past or their family’s past, what point in time would you choose? The answers are amazing. It’s healing and eye opening. I wish to really delve into this some more next year in 2016.
It’s really an amazing experience to listen and share with diverse people and help them come up with solutions to some of their conscious and subconscious concerns.
This week I’ve also interviewed some pretty cool entrepreneurs like myself. I really do love my work. It brings so much joy, fulfilment and peace to bring someone’s story to life. I won’t it trade it for the world.
As this year comes to an end, I tie up loose ends…complete projects and put plans in place for next year. I release my attachments to the outcome and I surrender to the infinite possibilities that await. That way there’s no disappointment….or no one way of doing things.
What are your plans and how do you hope to achieve them? What do you miss the most about the past and how do you intend to find closure to that chapter of your life and embrace what the future has in store for you?
If you’ve read to the end of this blog, YAY 😀 Shoot me a comment so I know you’re still there!
Have a Happy Weekend folks…LIVE to LOVE your LIFE….because you don’t get a second chance!
Peace & Love,
